Museum Educator
Discovery Gateway has an immediate opening for a Museum Educator in the Educational Programs Department. The Museum Educator will teach and actively contribute in the planning, execution and measurement of all education programs, special events and exhibit areas listed in the Discovery Gateway Annual Plan. The Museum Educator will be responsible to teach the Saturday Curiosity Shop and any other special or regular programming that may occur, as assigned by the Educational Programs Manager. The Museum Educator will maintain an accurate and organized portfolio of all records and data, and reporting this information on a weekly basis.

Arts Educator
Discovery Gateway has an immediate opening for an Arts Educator in the Educational Programs Department. Under the direction of the Educational Programs Manager the Arts Educator will create and teach Discovery Gateway arts programming. The Arts Educator will create an innovative children’s (family oriented) arts program for Museum visitors to explore and develop their own creativity. The arts programming will teach conceptual art skills that not only encourage creativity, and self expression, but also includes authentic cultural experiences. Act as an expert in the field of art education, and encourage a greater appreciation for all art forms and artists.
