Museum Closure Update:
As of May 1st 2020

As of May 1, Governor Gary Herbert moved Utah from the High Risk phase to the Moderate Risk phase of the State’s Utah Leads Together Plan, and many businesses are now allowed to open. Discovery Gateway Children’s Museum is working hard to analyze our unique organization and to implement a reopening plan that creates a Play Safe environment for you and your children.

We are committed to following the SLCo Health Department’s safety precautions and guidelines as well as the state’s Utah Leads Together Plan. Though we would love to reopen as soon as possible and see all our amazing visitors, we at Discovery Gateway feel that it is too soon at this time to open our doors for the safety of the public and our employees. Discovery Gateway is planning to open sometime in June. Please check our website for updates and follow us on social media for the most up to date information.

We apologize for any inconvenience and we’ll see you again as soon as it’s safe to reopen the museum. We understand that this can be a stressful and concerning time and we will do everything we can to communicate effectively with any developments.
