RubySnap Exhibit Opening at Discovery Gateway Children's Museum
Salt Lake City—December 6, 2022—Discovery Gateway Children's Museum will open a simulated RubySnap Cookie Shop on December 17 in their gallery Kid’s Eye View. The popular exhibit area known for educating children through play and socialization shrinks well-known brands like Macey's, First Utah Bank, or Mark Miller Subaru down with pint-sized storefronts through kid’s sized exhibits. Children get to play pretend with realistic props and settings and learn about being a grownup in a fun setting.
The upcoming RubySnap exhibit will feature a new storefront where children can pretend to bake, buy, and sell replicas of RubySnap gourmet cookies. RubySnap Founder and CEO, Tami Steggell, was an architect before shifting careers to create Salt Lake City's iconic company and was an integral part of the design process. The installation captures the retro-chic style of the storefront on 3rd West and will inspire a new generation of creative bakers.
The children’s museum is in downtown Salt Lake City at 444 West 100 South. The contemporary museum has been a Salt Lake City favorite for over 45 years, offering 60,000 square feet of interactive, hands-on exhibits such as the new dinosaur exhibit, daily science experiments, and art classes. The mission of the children’s museum is to inspire children of all ages and abilities to imagine, discover, and connect with their world and to make a difference.
