Tasty Tuesday: Growing Veggies with Red Butte Garden

This week we are participating in the Week of The Young Child (WOYC). WOYC is a national celebration hosted by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), and invites parents, teachers and caregivers to spend the week focusing on early learning opportunities. This year we have moved the celebration online and are delighted to be joined by five guest organizations. Throughout this week we will explore each day’s theme through performances, projects and virtual visits with our partners. Today we are participating in Tasty Tuesday with our partners Red Butte Garden!

Spring is a great time to get in the garden and start growing some plants that will someday become a tasty meal. Today we are joined by Red Butte Garden! They are going to give us some great tips on how to get a garden started by germinating seeds, and then we are going to listen to a fun story about cooking with vegetables!

Make sure to check out all the fun Red Butte Garden is offering for children and families on their Boredom Busters Page!
