Emilee King-Ward, Outreach Education Manager, has been working with Discovery Gateway’s Outreach programs since 2014.
Teri Hogan is the Floor Operations Coordinator and has been at Discovery Gateway since 2015.
Jacob Adamson is the Design Project Coordinator at Discovery Gateway where he develops existing and new exhibits within the museum.
Service with a smile! Discovery Gateway is proud to have our admission staff front and center and the first person to greet you when coming to the museum! We are so happy to have people like Kallie Filanda to help with checking in patrons, assisting with memberships, and answering any questions!
As a nonprofit, we must fundraise for about half of our operating costs. With the help from our Development Officer, Cristi Meyer, we are able to raise the funds we need through grants, donors, and fundraising campaigns!
Education has always been important to Discovery Gateway, and that is why we have Laura Cotter as our Senior Manager of Education! She helps oversee all of onsite education and our outreach program that attends schools all around the state of Utah!
Christian Conde is an Imagination Facilitator at Discovery Gateway and has worked at the museum for about two years. Our Imagination Facilitators are amazing at providing a fun and safe environment for your family to learn through play!
Alicia McKenney is the Graphic Designer at Discovery Gateway and has worked at the museum for over three years. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Southern Utah University. At Discovery Gateway, Alicia designs and creates graphics for exhibits, social media, billboards, bus and train ads, banners, you name it!
Education is so important to Discovery Gateway, and we are proud to have such an amazing outreach team! We are able to bring science to many 5th grade classes all around the state! One of those educators is Mimi Andrews!
At Discovery Gateway, our Admission staff are the first people that greet you when walk into the museum! That’s why we have such amazing and fun people like Sawyer Wood working at the Admissions Desk!
