Museum Closure Update

As of May 1st, 2020, Governor Gary Herbert moved Utah from the High Risk phase to the Moderate Risk phase of the State’s Utah Leads Together Plan, and many businesses are now allowed to open. Discovery Gateway Children’s Museum is working hard to analyze our unique organization and to implement a reopening plan that creates a Safe Play environment for you and your children. We are committed to following the SLCo Health Department’s safety precautions and guidelines and the state’s Utah Leads Together Plan. Though we would love to reopen as soon as possible and see all our amazing visitors, we at Discovery Gateway feel that it is too soon to open our doors for the safety of the public and our employees. Discovery Gateway is planning to open sometime in July. Please check our website for updates and follow us on social media for the most up to date information.
