Sensory Inclusive Mornings & Afternoons
Experience the museum when lights are dimmed, volumes are down and stimulations are less every Monday from 3pm – 6 pm, and every Sunday from 10am – 12pm.
These times are designed specifically for children and families on the autism spectrum, as well as those with other sensory disorders.
Additionally, Discovery Gateway Children’s Museum and KultureCity have partnered to ensure all programs and events in the museum are sensory inclusive. This partnership will foster a more accommodating and positive experience for all guests with sensory issues visiting the museum. Sensory Bags are offered at front desk of the museum any day of the week.
Visitors to Sensory Mornings and afternoons enter free of charge with registration. Free admission is made possible by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Foundation.
