Move It Exhibit Returns!
Opens January 21 through mid-May
At 1,600 square feet, the Move It exhibit is an expansive play space featuring a challenging obstacle course, a cushioned mat area for yoga and stretching, and a multi-use space for jump roping and hula hooping. 60 minutes a day of play and physical activity is recommended for children, and with all that jumping, balancing, hopping, crawling, sliding, stretching, and digging in Move It, those 60 minutes are easily guaranteed!
A 30-foot beehive greets visitors to The Garden, an exhibit where children and adults work together to keep things “buzzing” with all sorts of balls.
Kid’s Eye View
In the Kid’s Eye View exhibit, children can explore the big, wide world on a kid-sized scale in eight different areas: Construction Zone, Water Play, Harmons Neighborhood Grocer, Ken Garff Service Station, Climbing Wall, Utah Family Farm, Gerri’s House.
Infants and toddlers, age 4 and under, can practice their motor skills in Hatch, Waddle, and Fly.
Story Factory & Sensory Room
The Story Factory exhibit area offers visitors numerous ways to explore telling a story. Make your own animation, learn about social stories, create and perform your own plays on the theater stage.
Stop by our sensory room to tickle or relax your body senses through touch boxes, plasma balls, lights, and more.
Join the party with Imagination Playground big blue blocks. From crawlers to climbers, kids of all ages will be able to build amazing structures from floor to ceiling, connecting parts into the gallery walls, and transforming the space with power of their imaginations. Photos by Trent Nelson.
